It's a SPACE game!

Your sounds will launch a rocket from Earth all the way to the Moon, 384,400 km away. And the game needs a controller. You're going to build it, shaped like a rocket.

You will need

Build your rocket

Cut out the rocketDraw a body, a pointy nose and two fins on the card, then cut them out. Ask an adult to help with thick card.
Join the piecesTape the nose and fins onto the body so the rocket lies flat on the table.
Make the BOOST buttonStick a big patch of conductive tape where the window goes.
Make the steering finsStick a patch of conductive tape on the left fin and on the right fin.
Lay the tape trailsRun one strip of tape from each patch down to the bottom of the rocket. To turn a corner, fold the tape. Don't cut it.
Check the gapsThe three trails must never touch each other, or the game will get confused.
DecorateDraw around the tape, but don't colour on top of it.
Clip on the leadsClip one crocodile lead to the end of each tape trail.

Connect your rocket

Plug the SPOKE board into the computer with the USB cable.
Clip the LEFT fin to Pad 1, BOOST to Pad 11 and the RIGHT fin to Pad 26.
Press Connect my rocket. If the computer asks, press Allow.
Touch each tape patch. Its box below should light up yellow and get a tick.
